Mr Michael Eames. Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
I am happy to endorse the stand and tools. I have noticed for many years that blacksmiths and vets working with horses have terrible posture when dealing with their feet. Most of them also complain of significant back pain, especially the lower back. I have also found personally that when studding horses for events my own back would become strained easily. Having now used the stand and also having had tuition from Paddy on techniques to work with the horses I have found a significant ease on my lower back. I certainly found the stand a help, however the teaching programme including the dummy feet and tool techniques added significantly to my confidence when using the equipment. The posture adopted allows much more control and would seem to lower the risk of developing or exacerbating back problems. I now encourage many people I meet at events to adopt these techniques.
